This is the big one. Tasks v2 is now live across the Console and the Employee App — a ground-up redesign of how work gets planned, dispatched, executed, and reviewed. It ships with the new Task Settings, Routes with Job Site checkpoints, the Work History timeline, a rebuilt Quick Search, and a refreshed visual design across the whole platform.

CONSOLE
New
- Tasks v2 — a workflow-driven task engine. Build your own Kanban workflows with custom statuses, assign multiple people to one task, attach products and routes, and track every step of execution from one board.
- Task Settings — a new section to create and manage workflows and statuses (name, color, status type, default, archive), including a reworked Automation form that auto-moves tasks on a schedule: when the scheduled date arrives, 1 day / 12 / 8 / 6 / 4 hours before, immediately, or at a fixed time of day.
- Routes with Job Site checkpoints. Plan a route on a map with Load and Delivery points, plus the new Job Site stop that holds the driver until the work there is logged.
- Progres (Work History tab). A per-employee timeline of every load, delivery, log entry, and note on a task, with live product progress across multiple drivers and editable log entries.
- Quick Search, rebuilt. A new dropdown with entity tabs (All, Vehicles, Locations, Employees, Tasks, CRM, Chats), result cards, hover quick actions, keyboard navigation, and recently viewed when the box is empty.
Improvements
- Refreshed design across the platform. Buttons and icons throughout the Console were rebuilt on the new design system for a cleaner, more consistent look.
- CRM is now searchable in Advanced Search.
- Quick actions reach further — the Assigned Driver and Assigned Vehicle blocks now expose the same one-click actions (chat, map, open entity).
- Protected edits on assigned and completed tasks: Assignee changes only while Pending, Vehicle stays editable until Completed, and backward drags to Backlog are blocked.
- The activity log no longer caps at 10 items, and its sort direction now survives a refresh and shared links.
- Vehicle Group and Vehicle type are now required when creating a vehicle.
Fixes
- Tasks: fixed an access leak (tasks were visible to customers without access), new assignees on in-progress tasks are now added as Pending, edits no longer leak between open tasks, and wrong timestamps, names, and avatars on log notes are corrected.
- Reports: the Top-10 vehicles by usage ratio graph displays again, and Location Report PDFs no longer print with missing data.
EMPLOYEE APP
New
- Redesigned task flow — new task-list ordering (status, then due-soon, then start-soon), a rebuilt bottom action bar, and looped load/deliver cycles for multi-load work.
- Basic tasks (no product) — a streamlined flow for simple tasks without products.
- Route-aware execution — the app reads live execution state, handles an exhausted route cleanly, and Job Site checkpoints gate progress until work is logged.
- Push notifications for task actions — drivers and managers get the right alerts for accept, start, log, complete, assignee changes, and route added.
Improvements
- Smarter notifications: no push for Backlog or archived-task moves, no spurious task-updated push right after creation, and no duplicates after assignee changes. Managers now get a push when a driver adds a note.
Fixes
- Task time in Details now matches the Console, the in-task map renders reliably, the Complete task pop-up appears after the last delivery on a route-less task, and employee location is correct with no route.
- Chats show the real user name instead of John Doe, and unmute now works for tag-invited users.
- Stopping a session from the Console now reliably ends it, and the Employee App timer stops in sync.
