Release Notes

Stay up to date with the newest updates and improvements in FleetChaser.

The headline this release is QR Codes: put a code on a vehicle, scan it, and you're straight into that vehicle's inspection — no searching, no typing. It's now live on the Console and rolling out in the Employee App. Plus faster pages, support for electric trucks, and a few smaller upgrades.

Full guide: QR Codes Are Live — Scan a Vehicle, Start Inspecting

Console (Web)

New

QR codes on the Vehicle page — scan a sticker with your phone to link it to a vehicle (no more typing the code), and see at a glance whether a vehicle already has a QR code connected.

Improvements

Faster pages — camera, snapshot, vehicle-list, and employee-list pages load noticeably quicker.

Fixes

Search — fixed CRM search.

Employee App

Rolling out now through the App Store and Google Play — update to the latest version to get it.

New

Scan to inspect — scan a printed QR sticker on a vehicle to jump straight into its pre-check inspection — no searching, no manual vehicle selection.

The right check, automatically — start a pre-check if the vehicle has no open inspection, or go to the post-check if the pre-check is already done.

Your own flow on shared vehicles — when several drivers share a vehicle, each driver gets their own inspection, so one person’s check no longer disappears when a teammate starts theirs.

Improvements

Improved push notification reliability.

Under the hood

New-vehicle support — added tracking for electric vehicles (e.g. Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck) and support for check-engine codes.
